Overview

Shajara Tayyiba has teamed up with Al Maghrib Institute to bring a one of a kind, in person Associate Degree in Islamic Studies program for the Michigan community. 

Exclusive AlMaghrib studio recorded courses, taught by AlMaghrib Shuyukh, in an in person classroom format. Live in person discussions, live Q&As with AlMaghrib Shuyukh and building of brotherhood/sisterhood. 

This structured Associate's Degree in Islamic Studies program will cover over twenty two courses over a period of four years, with 3 semesters per year. Each semester will cover 2 courses. Classes will be held twice a week in person at Shajara Tayyiba (7437 Sheldon Road, Canton MI 48187). Classes are for adults and high school & college students.

    1. His Majesty - (Unlocking the Names of Allah): This class reconnects with His Majesty, Allah, studying the linguistic roots of Allah’s 99 Names, and how to use them in our everyday lives and dua. Taught by Sh. Ammar AlShukry

    2. The Prophet’s Smile - (Shamail of Prophet Muhammad (S)): The rights of the Prophet (S). A detailed physical and moral description of the Prophet (S), exclusive attributes and evidences of his Prophethood. Taught by Sh. Yahya Ibrahim
